Is this a car rental service?
No. PickDrop.PK does not rent out vehicles. We send a checked, trusted driver to drive the car you already own. If you are looking to rent a car with a driver included, that is a different kind of service than what we offer.
Do I need to own the car for PickDrop.PK to send a driver?
Yes. PickDrop.PK sends a checked, trusted driver to drive your own car. We do not provide a rental vehicle. The driver operates the car you already own for the hours you book.
How quickly can I get a driver?
Most requests are confirmed the same day, depending on driver availability with our service partners in your area at the time.
Where do PickDrop.PK's drivers come from?
We work with established service partners across Karachi. Their drivers are already trained and checked for event work, and we add our own checks for daytime bookings.
Can I book just a few hours, or does it have to be a full day?
Half day, full day, full week, or full month bookings are all possible, depending on what is available in your area at the time you need it.
Can I use PickDrop.PK to put my car on InDrive or Yango?
Yes. Our driver operates your car on the ride-hailing platform of your choice, and you keep everything the car earns. This is a newer offering, and setting up a driver's platform account can take a bit longer than a typical booking, so let us know in advance if possible.
How do I actually book?
Find your area under Karachi Areas and fill out the request form on that page, or use the form on our Contact page if you are not sure which area applies. We will confirm a driver and the price before anything is booked.
What if the driver isn't a good fit?
Tell us as soon as possible and we will arrange a replacement driver at no extra cost, based on your booking and availability at the time.
Can the driver handle both manual and automatic cars?
Let us know your car's transmission and any other specifics when you submit your request, and we will match you with a driver comfortable operating that type of vehicle.
Does my car need to be insured?
We strongly recommend booking with a currently insured vehicle. It is better to have your car covered by insurance, since this reduces your financial risk in the rare event of a mishap.
Who is responsible for safety and any accidents?
We do our best to work only with trained and tested drivers, but PickDrop.PK cannot guarantee against accidents or driver error. All risk while a driver is operating your vehicle rests with the vehicle owner, which is another reason we recommend keeping your car insured.
